Experience, Skills & Knowledge Required:

Experience & knowledge in all aspects of kitchen operations from the ground up, butchery, larder, pastry, pasta making etc
Previous luxury 5* hotel experience, working with different cultures and having gained experience around the world – at least 3 to 4 years’ experience in a similar 5* resort with a good understanding of working in re mote locations
Fine dining experience more slanting more toward Mediterranean / Modern Asian or Indian than Classical
Must possess passion for food & integrity handling food on all levels
Good understanding of Asian/Indian flavours
Has a passion for seafood & its many preparations, raw, good, salted etc.
Good understanding of food combining in regards to flavours, textures methods
Good kitchen manage who can control costs and run a kitchen to budget
Highly motivated leader who leads by example
Enjoys thinking out side of the box and strives for perfection

Package Offered:

Basic salary - $4500 + USD tax free per month

2 year minimum contract, 1 paid trip home per year, 2 x 5 day R&R trip, accommodation provided, hotel service charge, management benefits, medical coverage, 1 month paid leave per year, 14 public holidays granted, would suit a single or someone whose spouse works in the hospitality industry, no children can be accommodated on the island
