Reporting into an Exec Chef, you will lead in the coordination of all pastry items for this soon to be launched new concept! Assisting the premium bakery/cafe along with assisting in receiving, storage, issuance, preparation and presentation of these food items. Uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures.


Produce all pastries for the café and other outlets if need be – all to the highest standards

Train Pastry chefs and Apprentices in relevant aspects of pastry

Monitor sanitation procedures in the kitchen and Shop

Monitor safety of Shop operations

Produce daily production schedules

Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas

Uphold appropriate departmental standards of quality/timing

Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement

Willing and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadership

Minimum Requirements:

Currently working in a luxury 5* hotel or high end restaurant / retail environment

Minimum of Associates degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, or equivalent.

Relevant culinary qualification and experience in a restaurant, bakery or food retail

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
